Minnesota 2009

Well we are back in NC and boy is it hot. We are already missing that cool weather. We had such a great time in Minnesota. It was Lilly's first time visiting MN. She had many firsts while we were there. First tooth, first time on an airplane, first time meeting Great Grandpa and Grandma Grillo as well as many other family and friends, first time on a boat, first time in Perch Lake, first time wearing a hair bow :). I am sure there are more too. It was such a great time and are so happy so many people got to meet her. We are so thankful for all the people who took time to come and see us.

Lilly's 1st time on an airplane went very well. She was so interested in everything and had a great time observing all the people and new sights.

Lilly got to meet so many family members and friends for the first time. She won't remember it but Ryan and I will never forget it!

Lilly had such a great time hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa Garrity's house. There was so much to do and look at in the backyard, beautiful flowers, apple trees, a water fountain and and the best thing, her Auntie Megs!

Perch Lake was really cold, Lilly got in but was not quite sure what to think about it. She didn't cry though! She is such a tough cookie. Here is a video of the first time she dipped her little toes in Perch Lake. It was the first time but definitely will not be the last!

This video is of her playing peek a boo with mommy right before we left. Her laugh is priceless.

And finally we are back home now, this is her 5 month picture. She turned 5 months the day we got back from MN. After all that traveling she still smiled for the camera. She is such a great baby!
