Christmas is near....

We cannot believe Christmas is almost here.  This year has flown by.  Lilly has changed so much in the last couple of months.  She has started crawling, pulling up, and even trying to walk a little.  She has 6 teeth now and can say 11 words, dog is her favorite word to say.  She is so much fun to play with.  She loves to makes "music" with anything she can get her hands on. 

We hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving.  We had a great day.  We didn't go far, just to my parents in Clayton.  My future brother in law's family came down from PA and we got to get to know them.  They were a lot of fun and we ate a lot of good food.

We are very excited for Christmas as I am sure you would expect as it will be Lilly's first Christmas.  We went and saw Santa the other day.  She was not a fan.  She was very skeptical of him, even though it was her Grandpa.  Just to clarify my family voulnteers for a Dog Adoption agency and every year my dad dresses up as Santa and people have their dogs get their photos taken with him to raise money for the adoption agency.   But even though he showed her his face she still did not want to sit on his lap.  We have had such a great time decorating and showing Lilly all the lights.  She really likes all of it and she has been really good about staying away from the tree. 

Ryan has been working a lot of hours and we really miss him when he is not around.  My job is still going really well, I am really enjoying it.  I get to make my own schedule so that really helps with having a little one around.
